Oracle Financial Services Software today said its consolidated net profit rose by nearly 29 per cent to Rs 263 crore for the quarter ended September 30, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 743.6 crore during the July-September quarter, against Rs 679 crore in the same period previous fiscal, Oracle Financial Services said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"We registered robust new licence signings in the quarter, aggregating to $24 million. Our momentum in the Asia and Pacific (APAC) region is significant, with the region contributing 37 per cent of the product revenues this quarter," Oracle Financial Services Software MD and CEO Chet Kamat said.
During the quarter, the company added 10 new customers and five new services customers.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 211 crore during the period under review, up 23 per cent in the same period previous year.
