PCBL to set up new carbon black unit in Tamil Nadu

RPG Group company Phillips Carbon Black Ltd (PCBL) will set up its new carbon black plant in Tamil Nadu. It would be PCBL’s biggest plant with a capacity of above 1,40,000 tonne, with an investment of about Rs 500 crore.

“The facility will be in Tamil Nadu and we are in the process of getting 60 acres of land at SIPCOT Industrial Park for this greenfield carbon black unit. This would be PCBL’s largest facility with a capacity of above 1,40,000 tonne per annum and the investment would be around Rs 450 to 500 crore,” said Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of PCBL.
