Piracy Worms Into Publishing Industry Fortunes
The Indian publishing industry is losing about Rs 4,500 crore a year on account of piracy and remaindered books.
Remaindered are those books which do not sell in other countries, primarily the UK and US, and are thus shipped to India at lower rates.
