Private sector insurer Bharti Axa's country HR director Priya Ranjan will now head Global Life and Savings Business segment of the AXA Group.
Ranjan will operate from group's headquarters in Paris to head a global force of over one-lakh people.
"Our group has a stated policy of international mobility of executives. It is an honour to have been selected for the assignment at the headquarters," Ranjan told PTI.
Outlining his thrust areas for the assignment, Ranjan said he would like to create a new platform for integrated talent management, which would ensure uniform human resources (HR) policies across the 57 geographies in which the group has a presence.
Overall, the Axa group has a workforce of 2,16,000 people of which 1-lakh are in the life and savings vertical and the rest with the property and casualty vertical, Ranjan said.
