Rajasthan Spg Q2 net up 12% at Rs 3.62 cr

Bhilwara group's flagship company Rajasthan Spinning and Weaving Mills has posted a 12.07 per cent growth in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 at Rs 3.62 crore compared with Rs 3.23 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.

Net sales jumped 13.63 per cent to Rs 175.64 crore from Rs 154.57 crore a year ago. For the half year ended September 30, 2004, the company posted a net profit of Rs 5.68 crore, up 2.16 per cent from Rs 5.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Net sales for the period increased by 7.06 per cent to Rs 339.36 crore against Rs 316.97 crore in the corresponding period.
