Reliance Broadcast launches English feed of action channel BIG RTL THRILL

Targeted at the 15-44 years, SEC males, the channel will be available in dual feeds of Hindi and English, reaching to 29 million male audiences

BIG RTL THRILL, the joint venture channel between Reliance Broadcast Network and Europe’s RTL Group, is launching its English feed, beginning June 12. The channel, positioned as action entertainment channel targeted at male audiences, was earlier launched in Uttar Pradesh with Hindi feed and was later spread across other markets. The English feed will be launched across key markets of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and other towns with over 1 million of population, where digitisation has happened. 
 
Targeted at the 15-44 years, SEC males, the channel will be available in dual feeds of Hindi and English, reaching to 29 million male audiences, the company said. 
 
The English feed of BIG RTL THRILL will see high impact campaigns across key markets. The channel is available across DTH and Digital platforms of Reliance Digital TV, Digicable, Siti Cable, In cable, Hathway Digital, 7 Star Cable, JPR Global Satellite, Star Broadband and others
 
The company said that the business decision to go dual feed is in sync with the market opportunity available. The channel will feature globally hit shows including Fear Factor (latest seasons), Hole in the Wall, Wipe Out, M1, Distraction and Battle of the Bods.
