In a relief to Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT), a Division Bench of Calcutta High Court on Thursday stayed the single Judge Bench order, which allowed unfettered use of equipment by cargo-handler Haldia Bulk Terminals (HBT) after removal from the Haldia port premises beside splapping a penalty of Rs 4 lakh. Following an appeal from KoPT against the single judge-bench order, the Divison Bench directed the plea to be heard, KoPT said in a statement.
