Sasken & Apollo Tyres Q1 results

Bangalore: Helped by higher EBITDA margins of 21.8 per cent during the first quarter of 2008-09, Sasken Communication Technologies posted 114 per cent rise in profit after tax at Rs 13.7 crore from Rs 6.4 crore in the comparable quarter last year. Consolidated revenues from telecom software, products and services during the quarter were Rs 168.1 crore, increasing 21 per cent.

Apollo Tyres profit increases 7%

Mumbai: Apollo Tyres posted a 7.3 per cent rise in its first quarter ne profit ended June 2008 to Rs 58.66 crore over the numbers in the year-ago period.
