Rajkot-based Seasons Hotel and Resorts (Seasons) has join hands with Ahmedabad-based Bhagwati Banquets and Hotels for management support. The collaboration gives the group's 4-star hotel The Grand Bhagwati (TGB) a base in Saurashtra region.
The Grand Bhagwati Seasons would have a multi-cuisine restaurant, two banquet halls with 7000 sq.ft of banqueting space, besides lawns with more than 2 lakh sq.ft.
"TGB will give Seasons full management support as they are experienced in hotel business. The Grand Bhagwati Seasons will open on Friday. We chose TGB as they are better then us to handle hotels. The ownership of Seasons will be with us, and it is just management level changes that will take place, as we want to concentrate on our other projects," said Ketan Ravaliya, director, Seasons Hotel.
Bhagwati Banquets and Hotels is a public limited company and is listed on the BSE and NSE. The group recorded a net profit of Rs 9.61 crore in the last fiscal.
Hemant Somani, director, TGB said, "As our main business is banqueting and catering, we can give better services to our Rajkot-based clients by this tie up. Every year TGB handles more than 15 events at Rajkot." The profit will be shared by both the hotels.
