Seshasayee Paper's posts 67% loss at Rs 15 cr

The manufacturer and distributor of paper and paper boards, Seshasayee Paper & Boards Ltd posted 67 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 15.03 crore in the financial year 2008-09 as compared to Rs 15.03 crore in the previous year.

Total sales of the company, however, surged a marginal 2.55 per cent to Rs 561.16 crore from Rs 547.23 crore.

During the fourth quarter of the financial year 2008-09, the company’s net profit declined 44.69 per cent at Rs 3.70 crore as compared to Rs 6.69 in the corresponding quarter last year.

Gross sales, however, marginally jumped to Rs 150.72 crore from Rs 146.76 crore.
