This apart, the joint venture company is also in discussions with AMRI Hospitals for a 90-bed medical facility in the area.
According to Gaurav M Patel, general manager, marketing, Shrachi, the deals are likely to signed in the next three months.
The Carlson Group, it may be mentioned, has brands like the Regent, Park Plaza and Park Inn.
"We are in the final stages of discussions with two hotel groups. It is yet to be decided whether we will provide them with land or build the property for them also," he said.
"AMRI is keen to set up a hospital here. They have asked for 2-acres. We hope a deal would be signed soon," he added. AMRI is promoted by the Todi family, who are also promoters of Shrachi.
Shrachi will also approach corporate houses, especially those in the services sector, operating in Kolkata, inviting them to set up integrated office complexes in the township.
"We will approach all corporate houses for setting up office towers here, which could serve as their district headquarters," Patel said.
The township, which will be built over a span of seven years, will involve a project cost of Rs 1,000 crore. In the first phase, residential apartments, hospitals, school and hotels will be build, with a project cost of Rs 250 crore.
In the second phase, flats and commercial space will be constructed, followed by an IT SEZ in the third phase. In the first phase, about 1,300 bungalows, priced between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 40 lakh, will be built. Till date, about 131 units have been sold out.
