Siemens bags Rs 109 cr Power Grid contracts

Siemens today said it has been awarded two contracts worth Rs 109 crore by the Power Grid Corporation of India to construct and upgrade its 400 KV Bachau and 400 KV Maithon sub-stations in Gujarat.

The scope of work for these projects, scheduled to be commissioned in the next 12 to 24 months, include designing, engineering, supply and commissioning of sub-stations on turnkey basis, it said in a statement.
