Skoda India sees 90% sales growth in April

Skoda Auto India, a fully owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto AS, Czech Republic, announced a sales growth of 90% for April 2011 over the same period last year. Skoda Auto India’s total sales for April stood at 2,446 units against 1,285 units in April last year.

The Czech auto major is aiming to double its sales globally by 2018 to at least 1.5 million units.
