You can now buy furnitures from Snapdeal.com, an online marketplace; living room furniture, bedroom furniture, tables, storage cabinets, shelves, chairs and so on. Till now the e-commerce player offered products in categories like electronics, footwear, fashion accessories, apparels and so on.
Snapdeal.com will offer an assortment of over 1,000 products including over 200 options for tables, more than 250 types of chairs, display units and storage cabinets. Some of the prominent brands that are available are Furniture Kraft, Housefull, Induscraft and FabFurnish amongst others.
The furniture is likely to be priced betwen the range of Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000.
Amit Maheshwari, Vice President (Fashion) at Snapdeal.com said, “We have now launched furniture category and further have expanded our product assortment in home and kitchen segment.” Going forward, Snapdeal.com plans to expand into outdoor furniture category.
