SpiceJet Q3 net down 13.31% to Rs 94 cr

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet today reported a 13.31 per cent dip in its net profit for the quarter ending December 31 at Rs 94.44 crore.

The airline had posted a net profit of Rs 108.94 crore in the October-December quarter last fiscal, Spicejet said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income, however, grew to Rs 830.13 crore in the December quarter compared to Rs 649.05 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.

Reacting to the decline in third quarter numbers, SpiceJet counter was quoting 3.03 per cent down at Rs 71.90 on BSE.
