Star, Cable Operators Spat Hots Up Over Dues

The ongoing tussle between Star and the multi-system operators (MSO) has taken a new turn with Star India coming down heavily on two of its distributors, the Hinduja-promoted InCablenet and the Zee Telefilms-promoted Siticable for non-payment of dues.

Star India has switched off the signals to the InCablenet network in Ahmedabad for non-payment of outstandings totalling Rs 80 lakh while it has discontinued transmission of signals to Siticable in Bangalore where the outstanding is around Rs 95 lakh.
