A growing lighting solutions company, Sun Sally Group has announced to set up its maiden unit in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The company already has a manufacturing plant at Kolkata, West Bengal. It also houses its Research & Development (R&D) facility.
"The Lucknow unit would be functional in the next six weeks. We are investing over Rs 5 crore in the plant to begin with," Sun Sally head (North India) Hradayesh Kaushik told the media here.
The plant would assemble solar power panels and LED bulbs for marketing in the UP and adjoining markets.
The one-year-old company has planned to launch its range of products in other parts of India in phases.
"Our USP is to launch quality products at low prices to give value for money proposition to customers," he underlined.
Sun Sally has been supplying its lighting products to several institutional customers, both in the public and private sector.
