The Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment grew by about 10% in Uttar Pradesh during 2014-15.
The state clocks monthly sales of nearly 4,500 units across makes and price tags, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) automotive division vice president (marketing) Ashish Malik said here today.
"We command a market share of over 80% in the overall SUV space in UP," he claimed.
He was in town to launch the refurbished New Age XUV500 in the UP market. The new model has the starting price of Rs 11.45 lakh (ex showroom Lucknow).
