"The company has plan to roll out Photon Max in all key metros and mini-metros in a phased manner within financial year 2014," Tata Docomo's Mobility Business Unit Head for Mumbai Aditya Gupta told PTI.
The company on Thursday launched its Photon Max dongle for Rs 1,699 here, which it says can deliver wireless broadband service at speed of up to 6.2 megabit per second (mbps). The company is offering new customers of Photon max internet usage of 10 Gb for 30 days on one-time recharge of Rs 300.
"For the first time ever in the industry, Tata Docomo Photon Max will offer lifetime validity to its prepay customers," Gupta said. Tata Docomo has launched this service on its CDMA network, which is considered to have seen less traction in the country.
Gupta said Tata Docomo will gradually introduce WiFi- enabled product in Photon Max portfolio.
