Tata Investment Corporation today reported a 9.39 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 89.45 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.
The Tata group firm had a net profit of Rs 81.77 crore in the September quarter of FY'09, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income rose to Rs 102.99 crore during the period, from Rs 89.18 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of Tata Investment were trading at Rs 457.25, up 2.02 per cent in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
