Tata Motors sales down 30% in January
The company had sold 87,465 units in the same month last year
Tata Motors today reported 29.50% decline in its total vehicle sales at 61,660 units in January 2013.
The company had sold 87,465 units in the same month last year, Tata Motors said in a statement.
The total passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 15,209 units in January, down 56.13% from 34,669 units in the same month last year.
In the commercial vehicles segment, the company's sales dipped by 6.87% to 42,571 units in the domestic market during the month under review compared to 45,713 units in the corresponding period last year.
The company's exports decreased by 45.22% to 3,880 units last month from 7,083 units in the same month last year, it added.
