Steel-maker Tata Steel today launched its galvanised plain steel with 'zero spangles' under the brand name 'Galvano' for the Northern region market in the national capital.
The product (Galvano) would be available in sheet and coil forms and is expected to further expand the reach of Tata Steel in the general engineering segment, a company press release said today.
Launching the product, Tata Steel's chief of manufacturing (flat products), Sunil Prakash, said, "Galvano addresses the unfulfilled needs of quality-conscious customers for an authentic product delivering superior quality consistently."
Tata Steel Group (including Corus) is today that world's sixth-largest steel producer with an annual crude steel capacity of over 28 million tonnes. The company has operations in 26 countries and has a commercial presence in 50 nations across the globe.
