TIMEX today launched Metropolitan+, an analog activity tracker, which uses Bluetooth technology to connect with the user's smartphone and can track steps, distance travelled and calories burnt. Metropolitan+ boasts a battery life of 18 months. For the health concious, the watch presents vital details on the watch dial.
The Metropolitan+ will debut two styles. One watch has a silver-tone case, a black dial with red accents and a textured leather strap, while the other variation features a black case with a black dial and orange accents and comes with interchangeable black silicone and orange nylon straps. Both these variants feature quick-release straps.
The phone app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and will store the entire user data, to be accessed on the go.
The watch is priced at Rs 9,995.
