Diversified retail company Titan Industries would open 20 more outlets of its speciality eyewear chain "Titan Eye+" by the end of this fiscal as part of a plan to make it a Rs 500 crore brand in three years.
"We are planning to open 20 more outlets by March 2010 besides launching more ranges of our eyewear collection," Titan Industries COO (Eyewear Business) S Ravi Kant told PTI today on the sidelines of The Franchisee India 2009 summit here.
Titan Eye+, which was started in 2007, currently has 70 outlets across the country.
"The expansion of our chain is part of our strategy to become a Rs 500 crore brand in three years," Ravi Kant said.
Titan Industries has a turnover of Rs 3,000 crore across various verticals of which the eye care business presently comprises a very small segment, he added.
