| Efforts to improve energy distribution efficiency helped the Ahmedabad based Torrent Power post a jump of 89.39 per cent in profit after tax at Rs 51.97 crore for the third quarter ended 31st December, 2007 compared to the profit after tax of Rs 27.44 crore for the same period, last year. |
| As per the unaudited financial results, the total income for the quarter was Rs 889.66 crore, an increase of 34 per cent as compared to the income of Rs 663.40 crore during the same period last year. |
| Torrent Power distributed 2322 million units of power in the quarter, which includes 500 million units distributed in Bhiwandi Circle of Maharashtra. |
| Rolta profit jumps 47% |

| It reported a growth of 47.1 per cent in the net profit to Rs 60.21 crore for the second quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 40.93 in the corresponding quarter last financial year. |
| Revenue for the quarter at Rs 251.9 crore up 47.8 per cent as compared to Rs 170.4 crore for the same quarter last year. |

| UTV Software Communications has posted a net profit of Rs 23.08 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, as compared to the net profit of Rs 28.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. |
| The total revenues during the quarter stood at Rs 124.37 crore from Rs 70.43 crore posted in the third quarter ended December 31,2006. |
| The media company's standalone net profit during the quarter was Rs 89 lakh compared to the net profit of Rs 24.70 crore in the corresponding period of 2006. |
