Trai Tells Operators To File Tariffs In Advance

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has made it mandatory for all telecommunication service providers to file their tariffs five days before implementing them.

Earlier, only operators offering more than one type of service, like Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), were required to file their tariffs in advance. As per Trai
