Tyche ties up with NCR Corporation

| Through this tie-up, NCR has announced the launch of its retail automation offerings, including point-of-sale (POS) solutions and kiosks for the Indian market. |
| According to the agreement, Tyche will be responsible for sales and support of NCR's retail solutions in India. NCR has a management centre in Mumbai that will provide remote support services to the customers. |
| Addressing the media, Shrihari Bhat, general manager (retail solutions "� South East Asia), NCR Corporation India Private Limited, said, "Tyche's existing presence gives us a strong reach in the country." |
| He added that the POS market was estimated to grow at the rate of 30-40 per cent, thus making it the right time for them to launch their retail automation offerings in India. |
| "This agreement benefits Tyche as it enables us to bring international products into the Indian market," Pradeep Chauhan, managing director, Tyche Peripheral Systems Limited, said. The Rs 35-crore company is eyeing a turnover of Rs 50-crore in 2006-07. |
