Infrastructure developer Unity Infraprojects today said it is planning to raise funds up to Rs 250 crore through issue of securities on private placement basis.
The company would hold an annual general meeting (AGM) on September 1 "for the purpose of raising resources through QIPs as per Sebi structures for an amount not exceeding Rs 250 crore", Unity said in a statement.
The company reported a jump of nearly 4 per cent in its profit after tax for the fourth quarter to Rs 20.98 crore, over the same quarter a year ago.
The company had a profit after tax of Rs 20.24 crore during the March quarter a year earlier, it said.
The engineering firm has declared a dividend of 45 per cent or Rs 4.50 per share for the latest fiscal.
Total income of the company during FY09 rose by 33 per cent to Rs 1,130.79 crore from Rs 849.54 crore of a year earlier.
Shares of Unity Infra were trading at Rs 324.50, down 3.45 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
