Vigneshwara Developers, the official ‘real estate licensee’ for the coming Commonwealth Games, has announced its plans to come up with integrated projects in Goa and Haryana.
Sunil Dahiya, the company’s managing director, revealed the company was developing 11 acres of a commercial district in Gurgaon, an 11-acre technology park in Gurgaon and a 400-acre Technology City near Gurgaon.
The combined investment in the project is pegged at Rs 1600 crore and
The company is also eyeing developing 300-acre integrated township project near Chandigarh region, the announcement for which would be made next year.
Vigneshwara Developers can utilise the licensing rights to create townships across 28 states in India, drawing inspiration from 72participating nations in CWG Delhi, 2010.
Dahiya maintained the very genesis of this development was to leave behind a legacy for times to come for present and future generations who would want to preserve and cherish the positive elements of CWG.
