Net sales of the company increased by 22 per cent to Rs 1,006.7 crore for the period, compared with Rs 824.93 crore in the corresponding previous year quarter.
Operating Profit increased by 32 per cent to Rs 103 crore as against Rs 78 crore in the same period last year.
Voltas' Electro-mechanical projects and services segment's revenues grew by 24 per cent with an order book position of Rs 5675 crore, registering a growth of 183 per cent, said a press release.
The Engineering Products and Services segment's revenues grew by 23 per cent, in the face of the continuing decline in demand for capital equipment. Mining and Construction Equipment business also achieved 39 per cent growth in sales, said a press release.
The Unitary Cooling Products for Comfort and Commercial Use segment's revenues grew by 20 per cent, including 29 per cent value growth in sales of air conditioners.
