Vsnl Buys Virtual Network Firm In Us
Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL), a Tata group company, has acquired the assets and network of an international Internet protocol-virtual private network (IP-VPN) solution provider.
The acquisition, completed on June 30, gives VSNL immediate access to virtual private network services in 15 countries.
Although the company has not disclosed the name of the US firm it has acquired, industry sources say it has acquired Gemplex.
