Drug maker Wockhardt today said its shareholders have given their nod to re-appoint H F Khorakiwala as chairman of the company for a period of five years.
Shareholders of the company, in an annual general meeting held on September 20, have given their nod for re-appointment of Khorakiwala as chairman of the company for a period of five years with effect from March 1, 2010, Wockhardt said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The shareholders have also given their nod for the re-appointment of Aman Mehta and Bharat Patel as directors of the company, it said.
Shares of Wockhardt were trading at Rs 288.65 on the BSE in late afternoon trade, up 2.91 per cent from its previous close.
