A local court on Wednesday reserved its order on an application by an Aam Aadmi Party worker seeking issuance of notice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly filing defective affidavit during the 2012 Gujarat Assembly polls.

Additional Sessions Judge G N Rana said that he will pronounce the order on October 7 with regard to the AAP member's plea, which sought the issuance of notice to Modi and returning officer of Maninagar Assembly seat in 2012 P K Jadeja, under CrPC section 401(2) which seeks to provide an opportunity of hearing to the other party.

AAP worker Nishant Verma had filed the application.
