Air quality in Delhi was seen to be improving with Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at lower than 300.

The Air Quality Index in Delhi's RK Puram area was marked at 239, in ITO it was marked at 251 (Very unhealthy) and Anand Vihar was marked at 569 (Hazardous).

Post Diwali celebrations, the national capital woke up to an AQI of above 400 which is considered to be in the 'severe' category.

Air quality over the last two days has improved, giving residents a reason to smile.

On October 9, the Supreme Court banned the sale of firecrackers in Delhi and NCR till November 1, to reduce high levels of pollution.
