On Tuesday evening, the resignation of Times Now Editor-in-chief, Arnab Goswami, came as a surprise to many. The move, apparently in favour of turning an entrepreneur and starting his own venture, came after several days of murmurs about his likely exit.

As we bid goodbye to the editor-in-chief of Times Now, here's a recap of his most most popular and controversial  'The Newshour'debates.

In the recently conducted discussion on the issue of Triple Talaq, Arnab, kicked out Ex-ACP Shamsher Khan Pathan when the latter insulted Shazia Ilmi on Sharia debate.

The 'never ever' ending spat with Meenakshi Lekhi on the discussion on whether the government should guarantee bringing in a December ordinance instead of just criticising the SC ruling regarding homosexuality in 2013.

Earlier this year, after the JNU incident, Aranb blasted Umar Khalid, who held a protest rally at the JNU campus against the capital punishment meted out to Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

However, the fiery anchor has also been at the receiving end at times.

The loudmouth BJP MP, Subramanian Swamy, called Goswami stupid and ignorant over the issue of Indian fishermen convicted in Sri Lanka.

When stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhatt, mocked playback singer Lata Mangeshkar and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on social media, Arnab in a debate, defined Snapchat in the best possible way, following which the clip went viral.
