Opposition Congress in Goa on Monday termed Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government's disclosure of names of those allegedly holding illegal money abroad as "selective blackmailing of a few people", and dared the Centre to reveal all names on the list at once.

"We dare the Modi government to disclose in one slot all the 700 names which are in the list as claimed by BJP," Goa Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Sunil Kawthankar said here.

The Centre on Monday filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court disclosing the names of eight people against whom it has started prosecution for allegedly stashing unaccounted money in foreign banks.

"Why is the government is trying to come out with selective list?," he questioned.

Kawthankar alleged central government is releasing the list as per its "convenience".

Claiming that the revelation is an "eye-wash", the spokesperson said Congress was closely monitoring the actions of the BJP government.
