CBI files chargesheet against Micro Finance Ltd

The Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) today filed a chargesheet against chit fund firm Micro Finance Limited (MFL), alleging that it unauthorisedly collected around Rs 400 crore from the public. In the 100-page chargesheet, the special investigation team (SIT) of CBI named five persons including the company’s former Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) Durga Prasad Mishra, his brother Upendra Mishra and son Kaliprasad Mishra.
