Gujarat polls: When a girl climbed atop Rahul Gandhi's vehicle for a selfie

Rahul Gandhi was conducting an election campaign in Bharuch to reap support for Congress party in Gujarat assembly polls

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was doing a roadshow in Bharuch, Gujarat, when his a young woman's ‘fan moment’ happened and it was all caught on camera. A Bharuch girl climbed onto Gandhi's van during his road show to get a selfie clicked with him.
 

An ANI video shows the Bharuch teenager climbing up the van, getting close to Gandhi and clicking a selfie with him before the SPG personnel.  She even presented Gandhi a bunch of flowers. The Congress V-P himself helped her getting down. Gandhi even shook hands with her after she got off the van. However, it was not clear how the girl managed to cross the guards and reach Gandhi's convoy.
 

This ‘selfie moment’ went viral on social media. People started sharing the video and posting sidesplitting comments. Few even cherished Gandhi’s gesture while others took a jibe at him.

Rahul Gandhi was conducting an election campaign in Bharuch for Congress party as it seeks to dislodge BJP from power in Gujarat assembly polls. He was greeted by a huge crowd during his roadshow. Tribals in Bharuch welcomed him with a traditional 'Mandva dance'.
 

Gandhi left his bus and moved to an open-roof convoy to ‘wave’ to his supporters.
