Reports indicated that Sen left Kolkata in the wee hours of April 10 for Jharkhand in a black Scorpio carrying a Bengal number plate, with associate Arvind Singh Chauhan.
He halted in Ranchi for a night and then proceeded for North India with his associates. Another associate Debjani Mukherjee joined them later in North India.
