One dies, 16 injured in Jammu school bus accident

A girl student was killed and 16 injured when a school bus went out of the driver's control in Jammu district on Wednesday.

Khushboo, 12, died and 16 were injured as the school bus skidded off the road in Bishnah town, a police official said.

"Doctors have referred six critically injured students to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu city," the official said here.

After receiving the news of accident, Chief Medical Officer (Jammu) rushed three ambulances to the town for timely transfer of the injured students to hospital.
