Bowing to Opposition pressure to restart debate on the crucial Lok Pal Bill in the upper House of Parliament again in the ongoing session, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called an all party meeting on Friday to end the deadlock on several contentious issues. The all party meeting is expected to be held at Prime minister’s residence on March 23 as it is a holiday due to festivals like Gudi Padwa and Ugadi. Social activist Anna Hazare has already threatened that he would again go on hunger strike on March 25 if the Union government doesn’t pass the Lok Pal in this session of the Parliament.
