"The Prime Minister should also realize that terror and talks can never go together," the BJP president said. At the press conference here, Singh was referring to the exchange of fire between the Indian and Pakistani armies.
On the present state of Indian economy, Singh said, "The country should consider an alternative economic model which will give jobs, food and shelter."
Singh did not spare Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. Without naming him, the BJP President said, "Why was he not sensitive to the issues of price rise, corruption, terrorism and naxalism as he was to the ordinance on tainted MPs?"
Further, Singh attacked the Congress party for allegedly misuing the investigating agencies such as Central Bureau of Investigation to settle score with political rivals.
He observed that CBI will be misused against BJP and other opposition parties in the coming parliamentary elections.
