A Samajwadi Party corporator was today shot at outside his residence by unidentified persons in busy Hazratganj area here, police said.
The SP corporator from Narhi ward, Atul Yadav Bantu, aged around 42 years, was shot at by motorcycle-borne assailants this afternoon outside his residence here, they said.
He was rushed to a hospital, where his condition was stated to be serious.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the assailants, they said.
