Startup Village bags National Award

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh and a trophy

Startup Village in Kerala has won the National Award for the best Technology Business Incubator in India. Sanjay Vijayakumar, chairman and Pranav Kumar, CEO received the award from Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr Harsh Vardhan at a function in New Delhi.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh and a trophy. Set up in April 2012 as the country's first PPP model technology business incubator, Startup Village is promoted by the Centre's Department of Science and Technology, along with Technopark in T'puram and Kochi-based MobME Wireless Solutions.
