234 infra projects behind schedule: Govt

As many as 234 large infrastructure projects, including those of roads, power and petroleum, are running behind schedule, the government has said. "...Out of the 566 infrastructure projects (Rs 150 crore and above) which are being monitored by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), there were 234 delayed projects...," Minister of State (Independent Charge) for MOSPI Srikant Kumar Jena said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha on Friday.
