The second edition of the International Film Festival in Ahmedabad will be held from August 4-8, 2010. While the opening ceremony will take place at Karnavati club, the film screenings will be held at PVR Cinemas.
The opening film for the festival is India's official entry to Oscars in 2009 Harishchandrachi factory by Paresh Mokashi. The independent feature film category has a line up with each of the eight films in the competition having won several prestigious awards.
The event is an initiative of Savvy, an Ahmedabad-based construction company and PrimeMover, an upstart integrated media and entertainment company. The festival has tied up with Whistling Woods International for a filmmaking workshop.
