She said the AP Mineral Development Corporation was actively pursuing with the mines department for exploring heavy mineral beach sands for supply of raw materials to those who propose to set up beneficiation plants in the area.
AP with a coastline of 900 km has about 153 million tonne heavy mineral beach sands.
