The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is spending about Rs 11 crore to create additional tourism cottages and rooms in Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts.
 
"We are constructing new 111 rooms and cottages at Rushikonda, Araku, Tyda, Ananthagiri and Razolu (East Godavari district). The corporation is spending about Rs 11 crore," P Jeevan Prasad, Visakhapatnam divisional manager, APTDC, told mediapersons here. The cottages will be ready for occupation within 6-8 months, he said.
 
From Sept 22, the corporation is introducing four city tour packages with attractive destinations including boat ride in the Bay of Bengal.
