Left Front Chairman Biman Bose said in a press release that the Front would support the Congress board in the Siliguri Municipal Corporation from outside. He ruled out the possibility of joining the board.
The Congress appealed to the LF to support their candidates in the Siliguri board this morning. Bose said the district Left Front decided to support the Congress candidates to avoid unstability in SMC. He hoped the new board would carry forward the unfinished development works.
