At the end of the drive, the volunteers nominated the following institutions to take forward the campaign - ISB-Hyderabad,
IIM-Bangalore, IIM-Calcutta, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Bombay, NLS-Bangalore, NIFT-Delhi, NIT-Trichy and XLRI, Jamshedpur. As part of the campaign, the students visited Valmiki Nagar in Vastrapur and spent an entire day cleaning the locality. Armed with brooms and dustbins, the students swept the streets and alleys of the locality and cleared out the garbage. They were aided by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, who helped in clearing out wet waste and manholes, and also sprayed insecticide and DDT.
The student volunteers also spearheaded a tree plantation initiative in the area and painted the walls of the locality, writing messages promoting cleanliness in Hindi and Gujarati.
The civic body promised to conduct periodic reviews to ensure cleanliness was maintained.
